Since 1992, at my return to Florence, Italy from London, U.K, I have been giving private lessons and organised English and Italian classes for foreigners, first privately and then in the context of an association I had created called "WIPS".
When I arrived in Paris in 1997, I countinued teaching, privately and for several language schools, until I took my interpreting degree in 2006 and even now I do keep a limited number of private students in both languages.
Over the years I have created my own teaching technique and I am proud to say that nobody among the hundrends of students I have had over the years, old and young, well educated or less so, was left behind but all came out able to use the foreign language of their choice.
There is nothing more fascinating than observing the effect of a new language to the personality and approch to reality of a student who is suddenly able to do things and to communicate where it had been only silence and cultural misunderstanding before.
